19 Nov 2025 Asmara (Eritrea) Reuters. Prosecutors in the Netherlands ask judges to convict an Eritrean suspect, 42-year-old Amanuel Walid (known as Tewelde Goitom), accused of being a notorious trafficker who tortured African refugees and migrants, and to sentence him to 20 years in prison;

19 Nov 2025 Kampala (Uganda) ReutersUganda Petroleum Authority CEO Ernest Rubondo states that roughly 75% of the $5-billion East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), which will transport Ugandan crude to Tanzania’s Tanga port, is complete, with full production from Uganda’s Albertine Rift oilfields targeted for mid-2026;
