26 Feb 2023 Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) The Citizen. President Samia Suluhu Hassan makes changes in her cabinet and regional administration in a cabinet reshuffle, transferring deputy ministers and appointing new permanent secretaries and deputies;

24 Feb 2023 Djibouti (Djibouti) Al Jazeera. Only two parties are contesting seats in elections for Djibouti’s 65-member National Assembly as main opposition parties boycott what they call “sham polls”, assuring veteran president Ismail Omar Guelleh’s ruling Union pour la Majorité Presidentielle of victory;

24 Feb 2023 Kinshasa (DRC) La Prosperite. United Nations assistant secretary-general for human rights Ilze Brands Kehris will meet Congolese authorities in Kinshasa on 9-12 March, after which she will travel to Goma;

23 Feb 2023 Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) The CitizenVodacom Tanzania says United States-based satellite internet service Starlink, whose services are set to be available during the first quarter of 2023, is not a threat but instead offers an opportunity for partnership;
